could be an admin lock on image codes
try this at work
Tools>Options>Content>Exceptions (next to "Load images automatically")
put a tick in the box and restart browser....what browser do you use at work? _________________

well at work do you use IE as this is the most widley used as its shipped with windows xp and vista.
unless you downloaded a browser, most use firefox. then you have IE at work........will get you the answer now  _________________

open tools>internet options>advanced....then scroll down to multimedia see if the box next to show images has a tick in it.
take a look at this when you get home

thats the trouble,us geeks see it as easy.
but if your not used to pissing about with settings always create a restore point so if it goes tits up you can roll back to a setting when your PC/Laptop was working ok.
